What is the Fluidfit Plugin for Figma?
The Fluidfit plugin brings 100+ AI models directly into Figma. Generate imagery, create visual variations, and populate your frames with real content — without leaving your design file.
Results arrive as separate frames or layers inside Figma, depending on how you configure the output.
How to Install
Get the plugin from the Figma Community:
Once installed, find Fluidfit under Plugins in the Figma menu, or right-click anywhere on the canvas and select it from the Plugins list.
How to Use It
Step 1: Sign in to Fluidfit
When you open the Fluidfit plugin for the first time, you'll be prompted to sign in to your Fluidfit account. Use Continue with Google or your email and password to log in.
You need an active Fluidfit account to access your flows inside the plugin.
Step 2: Select a frame (or nothing)
Click the frame you want to work with, or leave nothing selected to run a fresh generation.
Step 3: Find and select a flow
The panel shows two tabs — My Flows and Shared With Me.
My Flows — flows you've created in Fluidfit
Shared With Me — flows shared with you by your team or organization
Use the search bar to find a specific flow by name. Select the flow you want to run.
Step 4: Choose your output format
At the bottom of the panel, toggle Create separate frames for outputs.
Toggle ON — each result arrives as a separate frame, arranged side by side
Toggle OFF — results are added as layers in your existing file
Step 5: Run the flow
Hit Run Flow. The output lands directly in your Figma file — organized, labeled, and ready to work with.
What You Can Do
Generate imagery for mockups and prototypes — directly inside Figma
Populate placeholder frames with real AI-generated content
Create multiple visual variations in one run — explore directions faster
Access 100+ AI models — from one Figma panel
Pro Tip
Designing a product screen with an image placeholder? Run a generation inside Figma and get several variations back as separate frames — so you can compare directions and make design decisions with real content, not gray boxes.
Why Use It?
Placeholders slow down design decisions. The Fluidfit plugin puts real content inside your frames from the first draft — so reviews, feedback, and iterations all happen on what the design will actually look like.
