Once you have your videos, images, audio, and text ready, Video Compositor helps you stitch everything together into a single finished video. You'll find it under the Layers tools in the sidebar, alongside Splitter and Compositor.
What Video Compositor Does
Combine video, image, audio, and text layers into one video
Arrange and reorder layers
Edit each layer's own properties — position, size, opacity, and more
Control canvas size, frame rate, and background
Export the finished result as a video file
Adding Layers
You can add layers directly inside Video Compositor:
Click + Add Layer to add a video, image, audio, or text layer
Each layer appears in the Layers panel, and as its own track on the timeline at the bottom
Reorder layers by dragging them
Toggle a layer's visibility, lock it, or mute its audio
Adjust opacity per layer
The timeline shows the full duration of your composition, with each layer as its own track — useful for lining things up before you generate.
Editing Each Layer
What you can control depends on the layer type:
Image layers — position and size, blend mode, flip (horizontal/vertical), opacity, corner radius and entrance animations (Fade, Ascend, Shift, Skate, Bounce, Glitch, Clarify, Block) with a direction
Video layers — position, size, and rotation, flip, opacity, playback speed, plus the video's own embedded audio (speed and level, under a separate Audio tab)
Audio layers — playback speed, audio level
Text layers — font family, weight, and size, case (AA / Aa / aa), alignment, position, rotation, opacity, text color, line height, and entrance animations (Fade, Ascend, Shift, Skate, Bounce, Glitch, Clarify, Block, Type) with a direction
Composition Settings
Canvas width & height, with an aspect-ratio lock
Preset sizes (e.g., Full HD 1920×1080)
Frame rate (e.g., 24 fps)
Background color — leave it off for a transparent background, or turn it on and pick a color to fill any empty space around your layers
Export Options
Once your composition is ready, export it as a video:
Format: MP4 (H.264), MP4 (H.265/HEVC), WebM (VP9), or MOV
Bitrate: 4 Mbps (Low), 8 Mbps (Standard), 16 Mbps (High), or 32 Mbps (Ultra)
Audio sample rate: 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz
Audio channels: Mono or Stereo
In short
Video Compositor is where you bring your video, image, audio, and text layers together, fine-tune each one, and export the finished video.
