Media Node brings images and videos into your flows, and now File Node does the same for your files:
PDF, XLSX, CSV, DOCX, and PSD.
Drop a file in, connect it to the next step, and you're good to go. Every file you add is also stored in the Files Library, where you can tag it to find and reuse it easily.
What makes it useful?
Your files, right in the flow → PDF, XLSX, CSV, DOCX, and PSD files can all go straight onto your canvas
Upload once, use again → every file lives in the Files Library, so you never have to hunt for it or upload it twice
Easy to find → tag your files and search for them whenever you need them
Check before you use → preview a file and see its details without leaving your flow
How to use it
Drag a File Node on canvas from the Media section of the sidebar.
Add your file. Click or drag a PDF, DOCX, CSV, XLSX, or PSD file into the upload area to add a new one. Or pick one you've already added from the list below. You can use the Search box to find it quickly.
Connect the File Node to the next node in your flow.
Supported file types
File Node works with these formats:
PDF
DOCX
XLSX
CSV
PSD
Other file types aren't supported here. Images and videos still go in through the Media Node.
Preview a file and see its details
Open a file on your node and you get a preview. For documents with several pages, you can move between pages and zoom in and out. You can also download the file from here.
Want the details? Open File Information to see the file name, format, size, number of pages, and the date it was created.
Your Files Library
Every file you add through a File Node is saved in your Library, under the Files tab. Next to Images, Videos, and Audios, it's the one place for all your documents and design files.
From there you can upload new files and tag them so they're easy to find later. Files you've already added are ready to pick in any File Node, in any flow.
A few things to keep in mind
Only PDF, XLSX, CSV, DOCX, and PSD files can be added to a File Node.
Files are saved in the Files Library, so tag them to keep things organized as your collection grows.
In short
File Node lets you bring documents and design files into your flows the same way you bring in images and videos, with everything saved in the Files Library for easy finding and reuse.
