Presets are great for standard formats, but sometimes you need an exact size: a banner, a print piece, a client spec. Freeform lets you type any size, pick your unit, and save it for next time. Mix your own sizes with presets in the same run and get one output for each.
What makes it useful?
Any size, any unit → work in pixels, inches, centimeters, or millimeters
Save once, reuse everywhere → saved sizes belong to your account, so they're available in every Resize node and every flow
Mix and match → combine presets, saved sizes, and a one-off custom size in a single run
Know the cost before you run → the credit estimate counts every size you've selected
How to use it
Add a Resize Image node and connect your images.
Open the node options and switch to Freeform.
Enter a width and height, and choose your unit.
Turn on the lock to keep proportions, so changing one value scales the other. To keep the size, give it a name and click Save, or press Enter in the name field. Save turns on once the name, width, and height are filled in.
Select the sizes you want from the Saved Sizes list. The footer shows how many sizes are selected.
Generate or Run Flow. You get one output per size.
You can also use a size without saving it: type it in and generate. Presets (Standard, Social, and Ads) work alongside Freeform, so you can mix them in one run.
Managing your saved sizes
Edit or delete a saved size from the list. Editing opens the size with its own unit selector, and one size can be edited at a time. Deleting asks you to confirm.
Names must be unique, and you can keep up to 50 saved sizes.
Reset brings the options back to their defaults.
Edit or delete a saved size later and flows that already use it keep the size they had when you selected it.
Sizes and units
Switching units converts your size, so it stays accurate when you go back to pixels.
The smallest size is 4 px. You'll also see a message if a size is too big to support.
Sizes set in inches, centimeters, or millimeters are exported at 150 DPI.
Smart Resize
Smart Resize off: your image is fitted inside the new size, and the extra space is filled with bars. The output keeps the same format as your input.
Smart Resize on: AI reshapes your image to fit the new proportions with its best judgement.
Saved sizes on shared flows
If you're collaborating on someone else's flow, Freeform shows two tabs: Saved Sizes (your own) and Shared Sizes (sizes already used in that flow). You can select or unselect shared sizes for the flow, but you can't edit or delete them.
A few things to keep in mind
Credits: each size is one output. The estimate on the node and in the Run Flow panel counts every selected size, so it goes up as you add sizes.
File types: Resize Image works with PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, SVG, and PSD files.
In short
Freeform and Saved Sizes let you resize to exactly the size you need, keep your favorites one click away in every flow, and mix them with presets whenever you like.
